TMR stick warranty

TMR Thumbstick Replacement Warranty

This warranty applies exclusively to TMR (Tunnel Magnetoresistance) thumbstick replacement services performed by DVD Game Exchange & Repair Center on Nintendo, PlayStation, and Xbox controllers.

Warranty coverage begins on the date the repaired controller is delivered to the customer.

0–60 Days After Delivery

If a covered TMR thumbstick replacement develops a defect within 60 days of delivery:

  • We will provide a prepaid shipping label to return the controller to us.
  • We will repair or replace the defective TMR thumbstick service at no charge.
  • We will cover return shipping back to the customer.

There is no cost to the customer during this period.

61–183 Days After Delivery (Up to 6 Months)

If a covered TMR thumbstick replacement develops a defect after 60 days, but within 183 days (6 months) of delivery:

  • We will repair or replace the defective TMR thumbstick service at no charge.
  • The customer is responsible for all shipping costs to send the controller to us.
  • A $9.99 return shipping fee will be charged for shipment back to the customer.

184–365 Days After Delivery (Up to 1 Year)

If a covered TMR thumbstick replacement develops a defect after 183 days, but within 365 days (1 year) of delivery:

  • The TMR thumbstick replacement service will be performed at 50% of our current service price.
  • The customer is responsible for all shipping costs to send the controller to us.
  • A $9.99 return shipping fee will be charged for shipment back to the customer.

Warranty Limitations

This warranty covers only defects directly related to the TMR thumbstick replacement service originally performed by DVD Game Exchange & Repair Center.

Warranty coverage is limited to the specific thumbstick(s) replaced during the original service.

This warranty does not cover:

  • Physical damage
  • Liquid damage
  • Abuse, misuse, or accidental damage
  • Damage caused by attempted repairs or modifications by another party
  • Other controller defects unrelated to the TMR thumbstick replacement service
  • Any defect, symptom, or condition that was documented during our pre-inspection and was not part of the original TMR thumbstick replacement service

If a controller is returned under warranty and our inspection determines that no defect is present with the TMR thumbstick replacement service, the warranty claim will be denied. In such cases, the customer will be responsible for all shipping expenses, including any shipping costs incurred by DVD Game Exchange & Repair Center.

DVD Game Exchange & Repair Center reserves the right to inspect and verify all warranty claims before approving warranty coverage.

This warranty is non-transferable and applies only to the original customer.

Other Repairs

This extended TMR thumbstick warranty applies only to TMR thumbstick replacement services.

All other repairs and services performed by DVD Game Exchange & Repair Center remain covered under our standard 60-day repair warranty unless otherwise stated.
